The hotel was really nice, the meal menus was kind of simple but it was fine. The view was very impressive from the hotel's pool. There is many nice beaches around and the road are ok most places. There is a lot of animals around the place, we saw many of then and even one raccoon visit us in our room because we left the a gap in the back door... it was funny.

“Lovely views but basically 2 star hotel at 4 star prices.”

We enjoyed our stay because in general the good outweighed the bad and we were determined to focus on the good at the time but on reflection some things need to be said for the benefit of future guests and the Hotel management. The resort consists of a hotel and villas on a steep hillside. We stayed in the hotel for a week over Christmas all inclusive paying about $400 per night. The location itself has pros and cons as it allowed for a stunning view of the bay from the rooms and the dining room and there were regular free shuttle busses but we chose to walk to and from the beach. Looking at the reviews, the better ones seem to be written by people staying in the villas. First the Pros. Friendly helpful staff Tasty food. Wonderful views. Nice pools. Clean rooms. Cons: Food lacked variety sometimes the same dishes were served for lunch and for dinner. No special effort was made for Christmas Lunch. The drinks were generally poor quality wine and spirits. The rooms were noisy. The first room they gave us though on the 3rd floor, was immediately above the steep road from the beach to the hotel. One of the shuttles is a converted diesel lorry so we had the very loud noise of it labouring up the hill every 10 minutes in the evening. We did ask to be moved and they found us a room above the pool deck which we quickly realised was even noisier than the first room because of the DJ on the pool deck. We asked to be moved back. I think every room in the hotel suffers from either one noise or the other. The rooms were outdated 20 years ago with the shower fittings well past their use by dates, they badly need to be renovated. The beach was lovely and not too crowded but there appeared to be no effort made to provide seating or sun loungers for the hotel guests. The wicker effect sun loungers round the pool had no cushions and were very uncomfortable. Although there are 2 nice pools you could only get towels at the one furthest away which was quite a hike. Towels should be available at both pools. overall I think that it was over priced and I suggest that as well as spending some money renovating the rooms, they invest in some electric shuttle vehicles and better sound proofing in the rooms for enhanced customer comfort.

“Simple but pleasant resort”

Simple resort, neat, clean and amenable staff. Helpful and friendly. As an all inclusive, the food options are pretty basic as it is all buffet dining. Large resort, but they have a shuttle to get around the property. Front desk staff were super to deal with😊
