This resort is amazing! The staff exceptional! Food also exceptional! Danny boy at the front desk was such a great help. Geovanni at Amstar was so helpful when we booked our tours. Jose Maria in the dining room prepared a beautiful table on the deck for us for our anniversary. Every single staff member was so kind and helpful! The room was a bit dated but the beds were comfy! The grounds were amazing! I will definitely return to this resort. We did a few tours..Rio Celeste..quite the hike in the National Park but totally worth it. The wetlands boat tour..we saw a lot of crocodiles monkeys birds..the sanctuary is where we got to see so many animals up close. We also took a cab to coco beach twice. Really nice little town for shopping walking the beach and having a drink! I would totally recommend this place especially because of the staff there!

“Fantastic staff”
What a fantastic place. We stayed for 3 weeks and loved every minute. The food is good,varied and plentiful. Admittedly the rooms need some tlc but this is soon forgotten when you meet the fabulous staff and management. We have never felt more welcomed to a place. We were even surprised on our last… more
What a fantastic place. We stayed for 3 weeks and loved every minute. The food is good,varied and plentiful. Admittedly the rooms need some tlc but this is soon forgotten when you meet the fabulous staff and management. We have never felt more welcomed to a place. We were even surprised on our last night with a private dinner under the stars. The beds were super comfy and the shower hot with good pressure. Lots of wildlife around, we heard howler monkeys and saw white capuchin monkeys near the beach also skunks and lots of iguanas. Special mentions to Jaime,Josh,Larry,Gerard,Jose and all the lovely girls in the dining room we miss you all and thank so much to you all for making our holiday so great.

“Heaven can wait”
Fabulous location! Wildlife everywhere. Watch out for the cute iguanas and howler monkeys and varied bird life. “Great place to stay!”
Serene- great place! We just stayed at this hotel and very please that we decided to stay here. It’s an all inclusive. Staff great, food really good, rooms were very nice. Location really pretty and right on the beach… black sand beach very cool.

This was a very relaxing hotel with more than enough grounds, restaurant seats and pool loungers for everyone. The food was excellent quality. Some of the restaurant staff were especially friendly, which made the whole stay feel the most welcoming we have found in years of travel. Our especial thanks to Yarelis, Kendy, Stephanie, Jose, Josue and to both the guys hauling the hotel kayaks to the beach!
