Second stay at pontao , lovely hotel central to everything .The rooms are basic, worn and tired , but spotless. The cleaning team do a great job. Breakfast is ok, average but adequate. Second stay at pontao , lovely hotel central to everything .The rooms are basic, worn and tired , but spotless. The cleaning team do a great job. Breakfast is ok, average but adequate. The pool is also ok, but some idiot in the hotel insists on playing bass heavy music, from 9.30am till 8.pm making it impossible to relax. Please sort it out. The noise travels into the rooms. Boom boom boom . Awful

“Excellent location, Great price”

The hotel is in a superb location very close to the beach and the main street. The hotel it's self is pretty basic, but very clean, the cleaning staff are working all day, working very hard, they are all very friendly and always smiling and saying hello. The hotel is in a superb location very close to the beach and the main street. The hotel it's self is pretty basic, but very clean, the cleaning staff are working all day, working very hard, they are all very friendly and always smiling and saying hello. Breakfast was good, a great selection of bread rolls, cheese, cold meats, salad, fruit, yoghurts, cake. On the hot counter you could get omlettes, fried eggs, bacon (no it is not English bacon, so don't expect this !) plenty of good food to fill up for the day. Swimming pool - ladders into pool only have 2 steps, so you have to have very long legs or be quite flexible to get out, older people would have extreme difficulty with this.

Greeting Is it true that the only swimming pool plays LOUD music all day long? Me and my other elderly friend have booked three weeks and two rooms in January. Is the noise constant or was it only during the school holidays. We can still cancel our purchase for free if this is really the case. I was in Porto Antigo for two weeks in the fall, a very quiet place. Has someone in charge of the music come from the continent? -they call for their own pleasure about the customers they care about.
