“Wonderful 10 days vacation”

We stayed for 10 nights. We hold Bonvoy Platinum status. We stayed for 10 nights. We hold Bonvoy Platinum status. Upon arrival, we requested the sea view room and they made it happened :) Check in was smooth was silk and we received warm greetings from managers. We did feel that we are treated super well from the start and it continued to the end :) Room was spacious and clean, and we enjoyed towels art by housekeepers everyday. On 6th day, they offered us an upgrade to Villa. It was due to the corporate event and the hotel was fully booked. But it was very generous of them, and enjoyed a large villa with a private pool for last half of the stay. There are several restaurants you can eat. Restaurant Tuna, Velas (Asian cuisine) and Galinhas Bistro (Latin America cuisine) are opened only for dinner and need reservations. If you stay 4 nights, you can have dinner at Tuna once, stay more than 7 nights then you can have dinner at Velas and Galinhas Bistro once. (At least that is what we read) However, managers reserved a table for us 2 nights at Tuna, 2 nights at Velas and 1 night at Galinhas Bistro so that we can try every course menu they have. Another great treatment by them :) Tuna tartar, beef tartar and steak at Restaurant Tuna were superb quality. I enjoyed every dish at Velas. Presentation of all dishes were exquisite and quality was excellent. Absolutely fine dining. Highly recommended! Food truck opens for lunch time and offered different menu everyday, burger was sooo good! Chefs were super friendly and nice. Breakfast buffet was pretty much same everyday though the chef cooked our omelettes everyday was amazing. They offered various menu for lunch and dinner buffet. One day, we had filet mignon at dinner buffet. Yes, that was amazing! We had quite few slices :) Some authentic local/Brazilian dishes were quite distinctive and were not really for us. But there were so many other dishes to choose from, so our stomachs were always full. ;) Ice cream station was by the pool, and vanilla ice cream was very tasty. It tasted like good old days ice cream for me. The girl at ice cream stand came to say good bye on our last day, that was very sweet :) There are two bars, pool bar and next to reception. In addition, there are fridges filled with bottles of water, cans of Pepsi, Sprite, various international beer like Heineken, Budweiser and some German beer (forgot the name but it was good). You can take what you want and bring them to your room. There was a sparkling wine station which you can tap by yourself - that was cool. The bar next to reception / lobby was our favorite. We had espresso martini every night (they opened at 15:00 until 1:00? Or something) Bartenders were all good and we were happy with our cocktails. They had live music, and different artists played every night. They had karaoke night too. It was very cozy atmosphere with excellent live music and cocktails. One thing that I should mention is that most of staff do not speak English. If you speak Portuguese, Spanish and maybe French? Then, you may be ok. Managers and some staff did speak English, so they helped us a lot, and we appreciate your support and service! Although most staff did not speak English, they all were patient and tried to help and listen to us using google translate to communicate. We did not feel we were abundant at all. For example, bingo game was held by the pool one day. Everything was in Portuguese, but one of the staff of kid’s and leisure team stood by us and assisted us. That consideration, we see it as top service :) Despite the language barrier, hard working, warm and friendly staff made our stay very special, cozy and fun. Thank you all for the great service, we had a very pleasant and relaxed vacation :)

“Wonderful beach. Resort experience.”

ice cold room. Plenty of fresh air with balcony. Good internet. Kind service. Water flow is a little low…i was there for one day only…it might be a bummer for a longer stay. The beach is perfect…rough and beautiful when we visited. This Westin has the strong feel of an all-inclusive resort…

The structure of the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are pretty standard, but the structure is lacking. The structure of the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are pretty standard, but the structure is lacking. The towels were stained and the cleanliness wasn't the best, the room lacks a chair and a place to put suitcases. The food is very average, every day it's the same product, but in different presentations, I don't recommend long stays. There is no recognition of elite members, the staff are not prepared, the information is inconsistent when we ask. I don't recommend staying, there are other better options.
