Apartamentos Siesta I

“Good hotel, will use again.”

I was sceptical, because of the lack of reviews on YouTube and some of the comments on here .... But shouldn't have worried.  Stayed in room 736 (two bedroom) on 19/10/2024 (October half term)and can't really fault the place! Room was perfect and clean, and we had air-con in every room.  I suspect it has had a refit some time this year as everything seemed new, and there wasn't even marks on the fresh white walls. We had a pool view, and the sea in the distance (I think all 2 beds do)...... Safe is free, Wi-Fi is fast an free. Rooms are cleaned every day except Thursday and sundays. Pool was good and clean ... But was too cold for me for due to the time of year, but was still being used but quite a few others. We used the Red Lion (attached bar) a few times during our stay..  Had the nicest British breakfast I have ever had! ..meals were ok .... It was dead, the artist one night was singing to one table! but this is due to the time of year, I could image it to be rammed in the summer. Mosquitos ... We never really had a problem, but we took precautions (bands and plugins) .... Wife was bit a few times, but the rest of us never got bit. And no mosquitos were spotted in the room. The only downside I can see is that you are a ten minute walk from the beach. The walk isn't bad, just along a street with shops and bars. So if you don't mind this, this place is perfect ... Also the week we booked, everything was starting to close down, I believe this is the last week of the season there. If we come back to Alcudia, we will definitely be rebooking this hotel again.

Travelled here as a party of seven, we had booked two studio apartments, both situated on the 6th floor, the apartment block, which has a mix of residential and holiday let was clean throughout. Our apartment could sleep a family of four, with two single beds together and a sofa bed with two sections. The beds were comfortable with sheet and top cover, blankets supplied also although never needed as it barely dropped below 20 degrees c during our stay. Our bathroom had a bath with an overhead shower, sink, and bidet and toilet, I believe some apartments have no baths, only a wet room type shower. The kitchen was basic and served our needs for self-catering. The fridge with a small freezer compartment was ideal. Our apartment had a pool view with good views out towards Can Picafort. There is an onsite Spar shop that will serve well for self-catering, fresh baguettes, cold meats, cheeses, etc, as well as soft drinks, beer wines and snacks, plenty shops within walking distance too. The onsite bar/restaurant was good, and the menu was clearly marked with alergen info. Had a good variety of dishes to cater for all. During our stay we visited old town Alcudia and Can Picafort, we used the taxi service but buses are regular. And plenty of car hire services around. The apartment was cleaned regularly with fresh towels if required. All said, we had a fantastic stay at Siesta 1, Staff were friendly and helpful, and I would have no issues returning here again. “Get what you pay for .”

Just spent a week at these apartments 2 adults a teenager and 11year old in a studio with a street view. North facing so no sun. Defiantly get what you pay for and no more . The room is very average, could do with updating and did after ask for them to change the shower curtain as it was dirty … more

Just spent a week at these apartments 2 adults a teenager and 11year old in a studio with a street view. North facing so no sun. Defiantly get what you pay for and no more . The room is very average, could do with updating and did after ask for them to change the shower curtain as it was dirty . The cleaners did a good job and changed towels and bedding often The pool area could have done with cleaning more often and the pool had things floating in it . We did spend most of the time at the beach due to this . We did enjoy our holiday but If cleanliness is your thing I wouldn’t recommend .

“Value For Money Accommodation ”

On holiday with my wife , we spent 7 nights at the Siesta 1. When we arrived,just after 11pm, the receptionist was very efficient and checked us in quickly. On holiday with my wife , we spent 7 nights at the Siesta 1. When we arrived,just after 11pm, the receptionist was very efficient and checked us in quickly. Our room was clean and tidy as to be expected. It was a studio , so it was compact, but we knew what we booked the clue was in the description "Studio" The room was basic but clean and had all the necessary equipment and utensils required. Kettle,toaster ,microwave, etc. If I was being picky, I'd suggest adding some way of making fresh coffee . A French Press could be added cheaply enough , anyway, that is just a suggestion and did not impact my holiday. And the mattresses give no support. As I have said before, the hotel and grounds were very clean, although my room could have benefited from some redecoration, but again nothing major. All the staff we had any contact with, especially the cleaners were pleasant and polite and very helpful with the exception of the bat man on the Red Lion bar, who I found surly at best If it was only once I would have put it down to a bad day but two nights running is a pattern, anyway it did not impact on us as the bar was lifeless with no atmosphere so we only had one drink both times and left. My overall impression is Siesta 1 is a honest budget level destination you get a tidy well kept room with really just about all you can ask for for the price. Rooms cleaned 5 days out of 7 and fresh towels when required. If you want accommodation and you don't expect 5star luxury you won't be disappointed. We were very happy with our stay here and we had a great holiday.
